Respite stays

Each respite resident has their own comfortable and spacious room in ‘flats’ which have a kitchenette and bathroom shared with one or two other residents. All rooms are furnished, and each resident has a TV and DVD player in their room.

Each flat also has a lounge, and the main house has several other shared areas.

Midday meals are occasions where residents, day students, staff and visitors gather to share company, food and laughter.

Residents staying with us for respite receive breakfast, lunch and evening meals. They also have the opportunity to prepare their own breakfast and some evening meals, under supervision.

During the day respite residents may take part in some of the many activities available at Minstead Training Project which can include gardening, animal care, art and craft.
