The Minstead Training Project was founded in 1986 and offers whole year round services in residential and day care and training in Work, Life and Social Skills to adults who have learning disabilites. Since the Project started we have earned a reputation for our unique style of high quality care, commitment and excellence.

Our aims are to enhance our students' quality of life by developing their maturity, self-respect and independence and giving them opportunities to achieve new skills and meet new challenges in all areas of their life.

To do this we are blessed with staff and volunteers who are skilled, experienced, well trained, highly motivated and above all, caring. We are proud of our reputation for providing a high quality service which is always centred on the individual.

Minstead Training Project ensures its specialised services are as flexible and individually centred as possible because each person's needs are different

A constant eye is kept to the future with students, their families and any professional parties involved. Whilst actively encouraging students to grow as individuals their differing characteristics and needs are taken into account

The training provided at the Minstead Training Project will not only equip students with new skills and strengthen existing talents but also enhance self-respect, sense of fulfilment and, above all, quality of life

The Minstead Training Project is a very special place
